Will "Mac" Murphy, age 49, of Holland, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2018 in Marietta, GA.

Will was born on February 1, 1969 to Annie Mae Murphy (mother) and Will McLaurin (father, deceased).

Will accepted Christ as his personal savior at the age of 15, Prince of Peace M.B.C. Will attended Cameron Elementary School and Collins High School.

In the early years of his life Will met Jessie Mae Woods. Together they had two sons, Derrick Woods and Eric Woods (deceased).
Shortly afterward, Will met and married Erica Shelton and they moved to Holland, Michigan. Together they had two children; a daughter, Angel Murphy and a son, Amir Murphy (deceased).

Will worked at L&W Engineering for several years. He also worked for several other companies/plants during his stay in Holland. Will, the man we have all grown to love, eventually started his own business ventures including: Murphy's Interior Decorating, Security, Veterinarian Aide, ATL Shine King, Mac Distributors, and the list goes on…

Will relocated to Atlanta, Georgia which was his final resting place. While there, he became engaged to Tarnisha Neeves and out of this union a baby daughter was born, Shyla Sandy Mae Murphy.

There were three very special uncles who played a tremendous role in the development of the "mac" man: Son Lee Murphy, Robert McLaurin, and Larry McLaurin, all of whom proceeded him in death.

In addition to his children, Will leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Annie Mae Murphy; grandmother, Willie Lee McLaurin; three children in love Tylen, Khai'rai, and Yvhonna who loved and respected him dearly; sister, Sheila (Allen); brothers, Robert (Martha), Alexis (Laura); grandchildren, Nevaeh, Jahkayla, Nalani, and Seriya; and a host of aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be 5:30pm – 8:30pm Friday, November 30 at Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 E 16th St., Holland; and also from 10:00am – 11:00am Saturday, December 1 at Maple Avenue Ministries, 427 Maple Ave., Holland with a funeral service following at 11:00am.
