Marvin Genzink age 84, of Holland, died Friday, March 31, 2017.
Marv was a life-long member of Graafschap Christian Reformed Church. He worked for Chris Craft for many years and then Biotec in Zeeland prior to retirement. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the Navy.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Brian Genzink, and by his siblings, Jeanette Kooiker, Hilda Volkers, Ruth Tucker, Aleda Lubbers, Ed Genzink and Jim Genzink.
Marv is survived by his wife of 61 years, Viola Genzink of Holland; children, Deb and Dave Robbins of Holland, Mike and Laurie Genzink of Wyckoff, NJ; 4 grandchildren, Julie Robbins, Dan Robbins, Lisa Genzink, Scott Genzink, 2 great-grandchildren, Dakota and Hunter Robbins; brothers, Don and Alice Genzink of Holland, Paul Genzink of California; in-laws, Florena Genzink of Drenthe, Ernie and Arlene Vander Hulst of Holland; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Graafschap Christian Reformed Church, 5973 Church St. Holland with Rev. Stan Scripps officiating. Burial will be in Graafschap Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Monday, April 3, at Graafschap CRC. Memorial contributions may be given to Holland Christian Schools or Bibles for Mexico, where he spent many volunteer hours.
