Obituary for Karen F. Smeltzer

Karen F. Smeltzer age 82, of Holland, met her Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 16, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen "Fred" in 2018.

Karen attended Central Wesleyan Church and worked a nurse for local hospitals and private practice offices. She was an avid reader and loved to knit and crochet.

Karen is survived by her children, Scott Smeltzer of Fremont, Jeffrey (Cynthia) Smeltzer of Holland, Lisa (James) Koetje of Holland, Dawn (David) Fouts of Holland; 10 Grandchildren; Brother-in-law, Thomas W. Smeltzer of Arcadia, MI; many nieces and nephews.

A family service was held on Monday, January 18, 2021 at Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 E 16th St., Holland. Pastor Mike McKay officiated. Burial took place in North Holland Cemetery.
