Juan Castillo "John" Villarreal, 32, of Holland, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2020.

John was born May 8, 1988, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Augustine and Alberta (Castillo) Villarreal.

He is survived by his children: Anastasia Elizabeth Villarreal of Alma, Jayla Thomas-Villarreal of Holland, his brother Tony Villarreal, nephew Donnie, niece Korrin (great-nephew Kason), niece Nadiah; sister Renice Jackson(Villarreal) and her husband Kendrick Jackson SR, nephew Kendrick Jackson JR, niece Kendall Jackson, nephew Kenzie Jackson; sister Lorraine Villarreal; sister Augustina Villarreal, niece Jaiden Elizabeth Brown; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

John was an excellent baseball player and starred as a pitcher. His dream was pitching in the major leagues. He was artistic as well as athletic and was a talented drawer. The kitchen is also where John excelled and had fun. He loved to cook and did it well. John enjoyed playing pool (billiards). He was tough to beat, and frequented pool halls with his cousin Johnny. He adored his beloved daughters. John always wore a joyous big smile when he talked about his daughters. John was kind and shared a loving heart. He will be missed greatly. His family and friends will always cherish the memories we have of John and will never forget him. He lives on in our hearts always. We will miss you John John.

Family services will be held at Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 E. 16th Street, Holland MI 49423.
