Henry Kruithoff, age 93, of Holland, peacefully passed away Sunday, November 26, 2017 and is now with his Lord and Savior.

He was a faithful and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and wanted nothing more in the past eight months than to be with his Lord and his wife who passed away in April after 70 years of marriage.

Henry served in the United States Army as an Anti Aircraft Gun Crewman in Hawaii during World War II. Henry was formerly a member of Montello Park Christian Reformed Church where he was a longtime volunteer. He worked as a tool maker at Crampton Manufacturing and Koning Machine. He loved his garden and was known for his pursuit of a pristine landscape.

Henry is preceded in death by his wife, Frances and brother Albert Kruithoff.

He is survived by children, Virginia Conwell of Osseo, MN, Marc W. and Nancy Kruithoff of Carmel, IN, Kevin H. and Carolyn Kruithoff of Jenison, Jeffrey and Jami Kruithoff of Springboro, OH, Gwen and David Treffers of Fennville; 17 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Mrs. Albert (Dorothy) Kruithoff of Holland.

Funeral services are at Noon on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Langeland Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 E. 16th St. Holland, MI 4923 with Rev. Arthur Van Wye officiating. A time of visitation is planned preceding at 11:00 am.

Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.

Memorial contributions may be made to Holland Christian Schools.
