Obituary

Hazel Genzink-Geurink age 90, of Hamilton, peacefully entered her heavenly home on Tuesday, March 6, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Harvey Genzink and Gradus Geurink, her grandson, Daniel Genzink, and brother, Jason Zoet.

Hazel was a member of Hamilton Christian Reformed Church where she was active in their food pantry. She ran child care in her home for many years.

She is survived by her children, Nancy and Tom Hofman, Phil and Sally Genzink, Laurie and Cal Schipper; 5 step-children; 8 grandchildren, Mike and Susie Hofman, Tim and Jill Hofman, Jeff and Aimee Hofman, Nate and Lynnae Genzink, Kari and Mike Ledebuhr, Riley and Alyssa Schipper, Olivia Schipper, Elliott Schipper; 15 great grandchildren; Sisters, Myrtle Exo, Ruth and Paul Wigger; in-laws, Evelyn and Alvin Bosch, Jerry and Leona Genzink, Lester Brouwer, Russ and Retha Genzink, Carolyn and Pete Jacobsen; many nieces and nephews.

Hazel's family would like to thank the staff at Royal Park and American House Lighthouse for all the love and care they provided.

A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 9, 2018 at Hamilton Christian Reformed Church, 3596 47th St. Hamilton with Rev. Jacob Porter officiating. Burial will be prior to the service in Restlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 8, at Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 E. 16th ST. Holland. Memorial contributions may be given to Hamilton CRC Food Pantry or Hospice of Holland. www.langelandsterenberg.com.
