Harry Dornbos, age 91 of Holland passed away Monday, March 27, 2017.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Barbara; his children: Linda and Skipper Wilson, Richard Dornbos, Diane and John Roelofs, Jim and Mary Dornbos and Joan and Tim Aalberts: grandchildren and great grandchildren: Neal Dams and his fiancé Melissa Meekhof (Shawna and Nathan), Keith Dams, Troy Roelofs, Kyle and Mindy Roelofs (Makenna, Peyton and Ella), Andy Dornbos, Michael Dornbos, Matthew Dornbos, Tyler Aalberts, Jayme and Conner Borah and Brent Aalberts; his sister-in-law Pat Vander Yacht.
Harry was preceded in death by his grandson Luke Aalberts.
Harry proudly served his country in the United States Army during WWII. After his time in the service he was co-owner of Auto Electric Service, and later worked for De Nooyer Chevrolet, Ter Haar-Ven Huizen Cadillac-Oldsmobile, and Grand Oldsmobile.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 East 16th Street, Holland. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Bethany Christian Reformed Church, 11 East 32nd Street, Holland.
