Obituary

George Fletcher, age 82, passed away on Monday, November 8, 2021.

He was a member of Haven Reformed Church and retired from Consumers Power after 36 years of employment. He served in the United States Navy and is a veteran of the Vietnam War.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Fletcher; son-in-law, William Prawdzik; and all of his siblings.

He survived by his daughter, Jennifer Fletcher; daughter, Christina Notenbaum; daughter, Brenda and Tim Mulder; son, Craig DeYoung; daughter, Barbara Prawdzik; grandchildren, Amanda, Derek, Heather, Robert, Drew and Amanda, Joseph, Jasmine, William, Nicholas and Kylie; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Freeman; brother-in-law, Ronald and Charlotte Lampen; brother-in-law, Keith and Debra Lampen; sister-in-law, Deborah and Denis Timm; brother-in-law, Jeffery Lampen; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are at 1:00 pm on Friday, November 12, 2021, at Haven Reformed Church, 4681 Oak Street, Hamilton, MI 49419 officiated by Rev. Michael Drew. A time of visitation with the family is scheduled for just prior to the service starting at Noon.

Burial with military honors will take place in Riverside Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in Fletcher's honor to Haven Reformed Church or Hospice of Holland.
