Craig B. Soderstrom, 61, of Holland, Michigan, died suddenly on Monday, February 22, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and June Soderstrom.
Craig was born in Grand Rapids and raised in Sparta, Michigan. He graduated from Sparta High School and later graduated with honors from Central Michigan University.
Throughout Craig's life he was incredibly hard working and gained much admiration from his co-workers. He gave many years to companies such as, Haworth, McGraw-Hill, Thompson Learning, Thelen, Reid, et al., a New York Law firm and most recently, Whirlpool Corporation.
Craig was known for his unique sense of humor. He was very proud of his grandson and rarely missed a game. Craig was always a classic football and baseball fan, but through his love for Griffin he really grew to enjoy soccer. He loved walking his dog, Lillie, skiing, working out and socializing with friends and family. He had a special talent for creating play-lists for any occasion. Craig was loyal to the people who knew him best.
He leaves behind his daughter, Sarah, (James) and grandson, Cameron Klingenberg. His siblings, Linda (Tom) Triick, Dale (Milissa) Soderstrom, and Janet (Roger) Roberts and many nieces and nephews.
Craig was devoted to his life partner, Michelle Sheridan and her son, Griffin Milovanski. He adored his dog, Lillie and put up with the cat, Duma.
He will be incredibly missed by all who knew him and loved him in the best of times and the worst of times.
A time of visitation will be held 5-7 pm, Friday, February 26, at Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 E. 16th Street, Holland 49423.
A tribute to honor and remember Craig Soderstrom will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, February 27, 2016, with visitation 12:00-12:45 pm, prior to the tribute service also at Langeland-Sterenberg.
