Obituary

Carter Ryan Brink, age 13, of Holland, passed away unexpectedly due to an internal brain injury on Tuesday, June 20, 2017.

He was a vibrant and energetic young man who was known for his kind and tender heart. He was a member of Providence Church where he was active in the Middle School Youth Group.

Carter loved spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed many sports. Carter's passion was soccer.

He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Lloyd Brink.

Carter is survived by his parents, Curt and Michelle Brink of Holland; brothers and sister, Mason, MacKenzie, Caden, and Chase; grandparents; Cheryl and Pat Dietrich, Richard and Deb Prince, Jean Brink all of Holland; great grandma, Grace (Pluger) Warsen of Cutlerville; aunts and uncles; Rob and Denise Brink, Julie and Doug Van Dam, Laura and Jon Holstege, Shaun and Nikki Prince, Chad and Alicia Blauwkamp; Several cousins.

Carter had a love for stuffed animals (Carter's Ark), and the family invites you to bring a stuffed animal (They need to be new and from a smoke free environment), that will be donated to the PICU at Helen DeVos Children's Hospital.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 26, 2017 at Central Wesleyan Church, 446 W. 40th St. Holland with Rev. Brian VanSoelen officiating. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Saturday, June 24, and 2-5 p.m. Sunday, June 25, at Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 E. 16th St. Holland. www.langelandsterenberg.com.
