Obituary

Brandon Boerigter, 48, of Hamilton, passed away suddenly on Friday, January 22, 2021.

Brandon was born January 3, 1973, in Holland, Michigan, to Gene and Sally (Haakma) Boerigter. He graduated from Hamilton High School and Grand Valley State University. Brandon started working at Prince Corporation and was currently working for Yanfeng. Brandon and his family are very grateful for all his Yanfeng 3rd shift coworkers that gave him so much care and support. Brandon was an avid bow and gun deer hunter who was successful 37 times. He found joy in hunting in his handmade blind down by the Rabbit River.

Brandon was a member of Hamilton Reformed Church Brandon was quiet, positive, and full of gratefulness. "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God." Matthew 5:9

He is survived by his mother Sally Boerigter, his sheepdog Sadie, his siblings and their chidlren: Brian and Kathy Boerigter(Claudia, Clayton), Gina and Wade Tanis(Haley, Jason), Bridget and Mike Miles, Brad Boerigter; several nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his father Gene Boerigter in 2008.

The Boerigter family expresses their thanks to the Cancer and Hematology Center of Holland, especially Brandon's chemotherapy nurse, Megan.

A private family graveside service will be held in East Saugatuck Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
