Obituary for Bernard D. Kool

Bernard Kool, 93, of Grand Haven, passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021.

Bernard served in the US Army during WWII and was a longtime member of Robinson Baptist Church. He worked in construction for many years and loved spending his time fishing.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Janet (Vanden Beldt) Kool; and his daughter, Beth Jones.

Bernard is survived by his children; Sandy (Larry) Wilson of Cedar Springs, Susan (Tom) Bosma of Grand Blanc, Dorothy (Mark) Drake of Allendale, William (Debbie) Kool of Traverse City, Richard (Kay) Kool of Fennville; 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 9 great great-grandchildren.

A private family service will be held Saturday, February 27, 2021, at Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
