Obituary

Mr. Jeffrey Lynn (Jeff) Clark of Holland, MI passed away on May 9, 2017 following a battle with cancer.

Visitation services will be held at Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 East 16th Street, Holland, MI from 5-8pm EST Thursday, May 11. Further visitation services will be held from 11.45-12.45pm EST on Friday, May 12. Funeral services will follow at 1pm EST.

Jeff was born in St Paul, MN on January 8, 1954. He grew up throughout the Midwest and attended college at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI where he earned a degree in Electrical Engineering and met his wife. He married Nance (Knoop) Clark on July 27, 1979 at Greenfield Village in Dearborn, MI.

Jeff enjoyed a career spanning forty years, of which thirty-five were at Herman Miller in Holland, MI. He dedicated his career to becoming an Innovator and Mentor for Power Distribution and Lighting Products at Herman Miller, and rose to role of Principal Engineer. Jeff was well a respected and dependable leader within the Technology and Integration group at Herman Miller

Jeff was an avid music lover and audiophile and frequently attended concerts. He also loved animals, including his dogs Aston, Sadie, and Hudson. Jeff was a huge sports fan, which included the WMU Broncos Football team, as well as the Chicago Bears, and Detroit Tigers. Jeff was also a keen runner who liked his daily circuits around the neighborhood.

Jeff is preceded in death by his parents Spencer and Beverley Clark.

Jeff is survived by Nance (Knoop); children Lindsay, and husband Alex Davidson, Andy, and girlfriend Natalie Thomas, and Nick, and girlfriend Kessie Karg. Sister Cathy, and husband Dr. Paul Juengel and several nieces and nephews.
