Glenn was known and experienced as a loving and kind man by his wife and kids. He was looked up to by his grandkids and he will be dearly missed. Glenn served in the National Guard from 1956-1961 and was the former co-owner with his brother, Don, of Mannes Body Shop. He was a lifelong active member of East Saugatuck Christian Reformed Church and served it in official and unofficial roles his entire life. Next spring will be a wonderful tribute to his life as the tulips bloom that he planted at the church just this week.

Glenn was preceded in death by his first wife, Jacqueline Schrotenboer.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Schrotenboer; daughter, Michele Dekker; daughter, Lynn and Larry Blourne; grandchildren, Michael Dekker, Jeffrey and Katelin Dekker, Matthew Blourne, Sean Blourne, Shannon and Tony Emerson; step-children, Scott and Paula DeVries, Jodi and Neal Dalman, Kim and Brian Memberto; Evelyn's 7 grandchildren; and their combined 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Marilyn and Tom Bratt; sister-in-law, Shirley Schrotenboer; sister-in-law, Juella Schrotenboer; and sister-in-law, Marcia and Dale Haverdink.

Visitation with the family is 4:00 - 6:00 pm Monday, November 22, 2021, at Langeland Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 E. 16th St. Holland, MI 49423.

Memorial services are at 10:00 am on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, also at Langeland Sterenberg Funeral Home.

Burial to take place in Graafschap Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in Glenn's honor may be given to East Saugatuck Christian Reformed Church.

Condolence & Memory Journal

Glenn was such a special man and friend. We would often run into him at Jackie's restaurant and would catch up on each other's lives. Our deepest sympathy goes to his daughters, and to all his family who were all so loved by him. We are praying for you and asking God to comfort and strengthen you.
