I am very sorry to hear of Sherwin's passing. Although I did not know him personally, I wanted to let the surviving family members know how much I appreciate his loving support while I was serving in Iraq in 2006-2007 with the USMC. Sherwin wrote me while I was overseas which is a testimony to the thoughtful person he was. I wish the family healing and comfort in these difficult times. Thank you for sharing Sherwin with the rest of us. The world is a better place because of him.

Praying for you all, as I know you will miss this kind man who loved Jesus & wanted to be obedient to Him. I only was in his presence a short time, but he made a big impact on me, with his tender caring heart. I know that you will all feel an empty spot in your hearts from his passing. I am so glad for Sherwin, that he has now been able to see His Savior whom he loved so dearly face to face. My deepest sympathy to all the family!

Sherwin will be remembered as a very kind, God loving man who showed his sincere emotions in many ways.
He loved his family dearly and he had an extra warm heart for those with special needs. We, his Oregon family, will miss him but we know that he is in heaven with our loving God.
