Condolence & Memory Journal

John was a good friend and confidant for many years. I valued his wisdom and care for others. We had some good laughs too.
God's peace in the days ahead.

John and I became friends while he was organist at First UMC and I was the musician at Christ Memorial. We had the opportunity to interact several times and he was always kind and a true gentleman. May he rest in peace and rise in glory.

A favorite teacher at Harrington School. If I remember correctly, Eric was born the same year. So sorry for your loss.

I remember working with John for many years at Holland Public Schools. He was a kind and caring man. He always listened well with a kind smile. He explained his detailed psychological reports well to parents, making them feel their child was valued and the support that was offered through special education programs. This was so important! He was very good friends with my Uncle Gene Scholten. I remember Mary, too. They made such a loving and caring couple. Prayers for all of his family as they grieve the loss of a wonderful soul.
