Condolence & Memory Journal

Oh my goodness, I just happened across this annoucement of Mary's passing and I just have to share. As a new teller at First of America, Mary was one of the wonderful people I was able to work with. Mary was such a lovely person, she showed me the ropes of true customer service. As I worked my way up to Head teller and we had to start selling products to our customers and doing sales calls; Mary was not convinced that she had the right skills. She quickly learned that she did but it really wasn't her cup of tea. True customer service, in her eyes, was helping people when asked and not always trying to get something from them in return. That is something that Mary taught me and I still carry with me today. After she retired and I had left the bank, we ran into each other and as always, Mary was so gracious and caring. She gave me her family update and I shared mine. I haven't seen Mary in many years but I am glad I saw this annoucement and could share the impact that she had on my life. Prayers of comfortable to the family.

Sweet Sweet Mary. You will be missed. I sure hope Kim has your potato salad recipe ! We had such wonderful times together at the beach. Please say hello to all of our friends at the Rainbow Bridge and I'll send a donation to help out the next batch of Black Kitty's! All My Love
