I would like to thank God for late Pastor Kortering's labor of love in Singapore.
"Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
Matthew 5:5, 9 KJV"

He had manifested his meekness spirit and his ability to counsel the children of God with love and truth.
I was fortunate to work with him as co workers in the gospel. From him I have learned:
Love in Action. The late Pastor and his wife, Jean spent a long time in Singapore, helping us to reconcile with each other and with God, during most difficult and challenging time of our church history.
Love in Truth. From house to house visit, I have learned how late Pastor spoke the word in love and without compromising the truth.

We will miss him. But we are also comforted that he had gone to a better home.
We will always commit his wife Jean n Kortering's family members in prayers.
May the Lord continues His good works thru the Koterings.

Pastor Kortering was a dear friend and mentor for our church members at Covenant Evangelical Reformed Church in Singapore. My wife, Grace and I will dearly miss his company and frienship but we cling to that blessed hope that he has gone to his eternal home in Heaven
