Poll family, we are very saddened by your father's passing. He was a wonderfully warm and friendly man. He was very supportive of the Hamilton community and the school system as well as the staff of Hamilton Community Schools. It was always a pleasure to "bump into" him at the Farm Bureau or the Food Center. We know that your memories of him will sustain you through this time.

Gord & Linda, Connie and I offer our condolences to you and your family on the lost of your father. I met your dad only a few times during our days at FMB when y'all were raising beef. I didn't get to know your dad but I certainly knew the two of you! You've grown a lot of corn and I've process a lot of canceled checks since those days of the NCR-315 and the Neat Compiler but when I read this obituary I flashed back all those years. We're living in Knoxville now, too far away to share your burden of loss so we'll leave you in the hands of the Great Comforter. I'm certain you'll know His peace. Bob & Connie Staal

So sorry to hear about Grandpa Poll. We will sure miss him. Just loved knowing him and talking about his favorite team the Tigers. Heaven has received a very special person. May your family feel God's presence through this time of remembering the good times and mourning the loss of a very special member of your family. Sending Prayers. Bob & Mary Van Huis

What a great man and role model Jack was to anyone he came into contact with. I consider it a privilege to have known him and worked with him through his years as a school board member. He was always positive, had a smile on his face and always kept the focus on what would be best for the students of Hamilton. He will be missed.

Remembering Uncle Jack as kind, fun and patient. I would stay with Grandpa and Grandma to play with Art a week in the summer...I was the only one that thought” working “ in the muck was fun! Still remember Uncle Jack letting me up on the tractor with him and steering...what a thrill for a young “city girl”! Our sincere sympathy to all of you!! He’ll be greatly missed but happy with our Father in heaven.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. He was a great inspiration to me. He was a very upbeat person and was always concerned about others over himself. He leaves a great legacy.
