Our condolences from Lisse (The Netherlands)
We met neighbour' Ron at our cousin John and his wife Bea during our summerholiday in Holland Michigan in 2018. Almost every morning we have a nice coffee and tell stories on the terrace and especially laugh and fool each other over and over again. Happy memories. We wish the family a lot of strength for now and later.
Love, Nel and Jaap Hassefras.

Ron always did have a smile & a kind word for everyone, I too met Ron at evergreen along with his good friend Earl. While I never went with them on “hot dog day” I knew how much Ron enjoyed it. I hope to get back to evergreen soon but somehow it won’t be quite the same. R.I.P. my friend.

Ron exemplified a spirit of welcome and friendliness at Evergreen Common. I so enjoyed discussing issues regarding our Dutch heritage and the Chicago Dutch' in particular as part of his work-out protocol. He will be deeply missed at Evergreen Commons. We bless God for Ron and our condolences to Char and family.

We so enjoyed spending time with Ron. Many fond memories of all of his stories & jokes! He loved to make people laugh, that's one of the things we loved most about him. "May you rest in peach Ron."

I met Ron along with his good buddy, Earl Welling, at Evergreen Commons. He always had a friendly smile and we often talked in the work out room about a mutual friend who was going through difficulties. I am shocked to read this and I will miss our talks. Prayers being sent to Ron's entire family.
