Tribute & Message From The Family

James (Jim) Robert Dowker, age 80, passed away on Monday, November 16, 2020.

Jim was a super chill guy who loved God, his wife, and his family. He believed in hardwork and loved to tell jokes that usually weren't very funny and laughed harder at them than the people he was telling them to.

Jim is survived by his wife of 59 years, Audrey Sherman Dowker; oldest son, Daryl Dowker; daughter, Kimberley; son, Michael; grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Family will celebrate his life privately.

Burial to take place in Oakhurst Cemetery in Whitehall, MI.

Condolences may be left online for the family at www.yntemafh.com.

Condolence & Memory Journal

Candle

Jim always reminded me of my grandfather, they were two of the best men I have ever known and excellent role models. His family has my condolences. Even though he had 80 years, it still doesn't seem like enough time.

I live in Whitehall so I will visit him when I can.

Audrey and family, I am so saddened by the news of Jim going to join the Lord. He was one of the best people I have ever known. He was such a kind soul and just an absolute joy to work with. He will definitely leave a void on this earth. God always calls the best home too soon. Prayers for you all.

Audrey-I am so very sorry to hear of Jim’s passing! We had a lot of fun times working together in the lab. Lovingly known as “Jim Bob Billy Ray Bob” he was always a calming presence and, as you know, willing to lend a hand. Thinking of you and the kids during this time. Cathy
