Jerry and I were classmates at Zeeland. While we both spent most of our lives here, we really only ran into each other seldomly. Always thought of him as an old friend. Deepest sympathies to all the family and close friends. He will surely be missed.

Dear Nancy and family,
I am so very sorry to hear about Jerry's passing, and my heart goes out to all of you. I always appreciated working with Jerry. He had a real servant's heart, never complained (at least not to me!), and always did whatever he was asked to do. I will remember you all in my prayers during this tender time. May God hold each of you very close and surround you with his peace.
