"So sorry to here! Was a good friend for many years in cardiac rehab at Holland Hospital. We started about the same time! We talked many times of ham radio and so many other topics! Always upbeat! He will be missed! My deepest sympathy to his family! Ron Fricano"

"We are so sorry to hear Ivan had lost his battle. It seems like before this Pandemic (back in February) we had talked at church and he was his old self. This must of happened quick. He was always a Happy go Lucky guy, always willing to help in any way. I know both you Leah & Ivan worked hard for the church and we had the cleanest church around! We pray God wraps his loving arms around you and the family as you say goodbye to your husband, father, and grampa! We are so sorry for your loss! He will be dearly missed! Big Hugs & prayers, Love, Verl & Vicky & Chase & Cassie Bleeker"

"My sincere condolences to your family. I got to know Ivan through our mothers. Along with several other girls, they developed a life-long relationship. It is during these visits that I got to know Ivan. He was smart, friendly and sharing. I have fond memories of operating his large train layout in the garage loft."

"Leah, Tim and Deb: what an awesome man! Always there for others. I remember talking in the yard when he came to take care of your mom’s house. He always said to me “ see you at tulip time”. I loved working with him at the parades as he was a tremendous asset to the Ottawa County Red Cross. He was a role model and will be missed! God be with your family"
